Gallop 4 the Greenways is an annual fundraiser to support our growing network of pedestrian and bicycle trails. The 5th annual Gallop 4 will be held in conjunction with the Down by the River concert, staged at Reserve Avenue on May 14th, 2011. The race and walk will be run on Roanoke River Greenway. Mark your calendars today and join us in supporting one of the most important quality of life assets in the Roanoke Valley.

 
It’s almost that time again! February 20th is Hoodie-Hoo Day! It is a day where the citizens of the Northern Hemisphere are asked to go outside at high noon, wave their arms above their heads and shout “HOODIE-HOO!” to chase away winter and bring in spring which will only be one month away! We had so much fun last year that we’re doing it again! Please join us for the 2011 Hoodie Hoo ride!
