Standing in front of a wall of helmets can be overwhelming! Styles, safety ratings, price levels and helmet options abound. Finding a helmet is more about fit than anything else. People have different head shapes and trying helmets on in the store ensures that you have a well fitted and comfortable helmet. Both of these aspects helps ensure that the helmet does its job and protects you in a crash. We will only carry helmets that have proven and documented safety ratings.
Position the helmet so it is level on the head – no more than two finger-widths of forehead should be exposed
Adjust the straps so they form a V just below the ear and the chin strap so only one finger can fit snugly between strap and chin
Ensure the helmet fits snug by adjusting the tension on the back of the helmet, when applicable
You've had a crash
